Creating the Daily Briefing
Our system begins with agents that monitor incoming emails, extract text from PDF attachments, and process individual articles. From there, a second agent builds a comprehensive daily briefing.
This briefing starts with top headlines from major newspapers and includes front-page images from national and international publications. The heart of the briefing consists of short, punchy news items created from the extracted PDF articles.
Streamlining and Categorising News
When multiple articles cover the same topic from different angles, our system intelligently merges them into single, comprehensive news items. Everything is neatly categorised into sections by topic, with company-specific news prominently featured at the top, followed by general news items.
This transformation turns unwieldy PDFs into a structured, scannable briefing email that delivers key information efficiently.
From Text to Audio
We didn’t stop at improving readability. We also created a podcast version of the daily briefing. The system selects the most important company news and high-impact global stories from the written briefing, then re-writes them for audio format.
The result is a morning news podcast accessible from any podcast app and perfect for the morning commute to the office.
What began as bulky, difficult-to-use PDFs has become a flexible information system delivering content how and where it’s most useful.
